Adjustable Frame Bed
You more than likely haven't heard of a furniture dolly before, they are used by all the professional moving companies and come in a range of different forms. The most common dolly type is made from a flat rectangular piece of wood board or a plastic/metal frame, the surface of the board is usually covered in a soft carpet material to reduce the risk of your furniture getting scratched during the moving process. On the bottom side of the board or frame there will be 3 or 4 swivel coaster wheels attached for easy maneuverability.

(1) Adjustable twin skate dolly - Not all pieces of furniture are perfectly cubical, so someone came up with this ingenious design. It is made up of 2 smaller wooden square boards, each with 4 coaster wheels attached to the bottom. These are both fixed to two ends of a central bar and can be moved closer or further apart from each other along the length of the bar. What this means is that you can easily adjust the width of the two platforms to fit oddly shaped items making this a very flexible furniture dolly.
(2) Aluminum dollies - Most of the older forms of furniture dolly were made from either hard wood or steel, these are both quite heavy materials that adds weight to the moving process and makes them harder to use. After people started complaining of dollies being too heavy someone came up with the idea of using aluminum, which is both very strong and extra lightweight, now pushing your furniture around is a breeze. The major benefit to this furniture dolly is that it is cheap, so you can buy several in one go.
